When you submit an enquiry through a form on our homepage or contact page, we collect:

Information collected automatically
When you visit our website, we and our analytics providers automatically collect:
- Anonymised usage data, including pages visited, time on site, scroll depth, and clicks (via Google Analytics through Google Site Kit, and Microsoft Clarity)
- Approximate location based on IP address (city or region level only)
- Browser type, device type, and operating system
- Referrer information (which site sent you to ours)
Microsoft Clarity may also record anonymised session interactions (mouse movement, clicks, scrolls) to help us improve the website. These recordings do not capture form input content unless you explicitly submit a form.

We use the information we collect for the following specific purposes:

5. Who we share your information with
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with the following categories of third parties, who act as our operators (data processors):
- Google LLC — Google Analytics and Search Console (via Google Site Kit) for website analytics
- Microsoft Corporation — Microsoft Clarity for behavioural analytics and session insights
- Cloudways — our website hosting provider
- Email service providers — for transactional email related to your enquiry
Some of these providers may process your data outside South Africa. We rely on their published privacy commitments and standard contractual safeguards to ensure adequate protection in line with POPIA.
6. How long we keep your information
- Enquiry form data: retained for up to 36 months after our last contact with you, then deleted unless you have engaged us as a client.
- Analytics data: retained according to the providers’ default settings (Google Analytics: typically 14 months; Microsoft Clarity: 30 days).
- Server logs: rotated and deleted on a 30-day cycle by our hosting provider.
7. Your rights under POPIA
You have the right to:
- Request access to the personal information we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information
- Request deletion of your information, subject to our legitimate retention obligations
- Object to processing of your information for direct marketing purposes
- Withdraw consent at any time, where processing is based on consent
- Lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator of South Africa
