Last updated: 5 May 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the website at macfor.com (the “Site”), operated by Macgregor Forsyth CC (registration number CCK952062/23), trading as Macfor (“we”, “us”, or “our”). By accessing or using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

1. Use of the Site

You may use the Site for personal, non-commercial purposes, and to enquire about engaging our services. You agree not to:

  • Use the Site in a way that is unlawful, harmful, or could damage its availability for others
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Site, our servers, or accounts
  • Use automated tools (such as scrapers, bots, or harvesters) to extract content without our prior written consent
  • Reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from content on the Site beyond personal viewing

2. Intellectual property

All content on the Site — including images, text, graphics, logos, design, and project photography — is owned by Macgregor Forsyth CC or used with permission. Photographs of our project work remain our property and the property of any commissioning client where applicable. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any content without our prior written consent.

3. Enquiries and project engagements

The Site provides information about our work and allows you to submit enquiries. Submitting an enquiry does not create a contractual relationship. Any engagement of our services will be governed by a separate written agreement entered into between you (or your business) and Macgregor Forsyth CC.

4. Information accuracy

We make reasonable efforts to ensure that information on the Site is accurate and current, but we do not guarantee that all content will be free of errors or up to date at any given moment. Project portfolios reflect work as of the time of publication and may not represent current pricing, availability, or scope.

5. Third-party links

The Site may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or availability of those external sites, and including a link does not constitute an endorsement.

6. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by South African law, Macgregor Forsyth CC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of the Site, including loss of profit, data, or business opportunity. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be lawfully limited or excluded.

7. Privacy

Your use of the Site is also subject to our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle your personal information.

8. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the Site is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of South Africa.

9. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the most recent version. Continued use of the Site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
